Contents:
Miconazole 2% and hydrocortisone 1%

Indication:
Sweat rash (candidal intertrigo) and athlete’s foot associated with fungi and bacteria where inflammation is present.

Dosage:
Apply twice daily for a maximum of 7 days. 

Caution:
Do not use on broken skin, mucous membranes, cold sores, on face, on ano-genital area, or to treat ringworm or secondary infected conditions.

Why do I need this medicine?
This medicine contains Hydrocortisone and Miconazole.

Hydrocortisone is a steroid. It helps to relieve inflammation, redness and itching of the skin.

Miconazole is an antifungal medicine. It helps to relieve fungal infections of the skin.

Hydrocortisone and Miconazole work together in this medicine to treat skin problems such as eczema and dermatitis which may be caused by fungal infection.

How do I use this medicine?
Apply exactly as directed by your doctor. Do not apply more often or over a larger area than instructed by your doctor.

Wash and dry your skin gently before applying.

Apply a thin layer sparingly to the affected area. Rub it in gently until it disappears. Do not cover, wrap or bandage the area, unless instructed by your doctor.

Do not apply near the eye area. If the medicine accidentally gets into your eyes, flush your eyes with clean water immediately.

Do not apply on a child's skin unless instructed by the child's doctor. If you are applying on a child, do not use tight-fitting diapers or non-breathable materials.

Do not use this medicine for anything else other than the purpose instructed by your doctor.

When should I not use this medicine?
Alert your doctor if you are pregnant or if you become pregnant while being treated with this medicine.

Let your doctor know if you are breastfeeding. Do not apply on the nipples if you are breastfeeding.

Do not apply on skin that is broken or infected. Do not apply on skin that is discharging fluid or pus.

Do not apply on your face unless instructed by your doctor.

What should I take note of while using this medicine?
Alert your doctor if you have diabetes or any other medical conditions.

Do not apply on a child unless instructed by the child's doctor.

This medicine may make your skin more sensitive to sunlight. Avoid exposing the affected area to sunlight.

Do not apply to large areas of your skin.

You should not use this medicine for longer than instructed by your doctor.

Alert your doctor if your condition does not improve or worsens.

What side effects could I experience?
This medicine may cause skin irritation such as a tingling or itching sensation, dry skin, peeling, pimples, thinning of the skin and small changes in skin tone.

These side effects are usually not common and are not a cause for worry, especially if you are using this medicine for only a short period of time.

Stop using this medicine and see your doctor again if the skin irritation does not go away.

Can I take this with other medicines?
Inform your doctor if you are using any other creams, ointments or lotions on the affected area.

Always inform your doctor and pharmacist if you are taking any other medicines, including herbal tonics, supplements and medicines that you buy without a prescription.

How should I store this medicine?
Store in a cool, dry place away from the reach of children.

Medicines must not be used past the expiry date.
