Diarrhoea
Diarrhoea is a common and potentially serious condition.
Dehydration is the most serious symptom that must be prevented.
Take extra care with children and babies and contact your GP if there is no improvement after 48 hours.
Any accompanying fever should be treated with a paracetamol-based product.
Adults symptoms should resolve completely within 5 days but seek GP advice if they persist for longer.
