Indication:
Athlete’s foot treatment only.
Dosage:
Apply twice daily. Treatment should continue for 10 days after all signs of infection have disappeared.

Why do I need this medicine?
Miconazole is an antifungal medicine. It helps to relieve fungal infections of the skin and nails.
Miconazole works by attacking the fungus and some of the associated bacteria causing the infection.
How do I use this medicine?
Apply Miconazole exactly as directed by your doctor. Do not apply more often or over a larger area than instructed by your doctor.
Wash and dry your skin gently before applying.
Apply a thin layer of Miconazole sparingly to the affected area and surrounding skin. Rub it in gently until it disappears. Do not cover, wrap or bandage the area, unless instructed by your doctor. Wash hands immediately after applying Miconazole to prevent infection from spreading to other parts of your body or to others.
Do not apply near the eye area. If Miconazole accidentally gets into your eyes, flush your eyes with clean water immediately.
Do not apply on a child's skin unless instructed by the child's doctor.
Do not use Miconazole for anything else other than the purpose instructed by your doctor.
When should I not use this medicine?
Do not use Miconazole and alert your doctor if you ever had an allergic reaction to it or to other antifungal medicines.
What should I take note of while using this medicine?
Alert your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not apply on the nipples if you are breastfeeding.
Do not apply on skin that is broken or infected. Do not apply on skin that is discharging fluid or pus.
Do not apply Miconazole on your face unless instructed by your doctor.
Miconazole may make your skin more sensitive to sunlight. Avoid exposing the affected area to sunlight.
You should not use Miconazole for longer than instructed by your doctor.
Alert your doctor if your condition worsens or does not improve.
What side effects could I experience?
Side effects with Miconazole include rash at the application site.
Alert your doctor quickly if you experience any of the following:
- swelling of the face, hives, skin redness or a burning sensation
- light headedness
- wheezing or difficulty in breathing
Alert your doctor if you experience any other side effects while being treated with Miconazole.
Can I use this with other medicines?
Alert your doctor quickly if you are taking drugs which are used to thin the blood such as warfarin.
Inform your doctor if you are using any other creams, ointments or lotions on the affected area.
Always inform your doctor and pharmacist if you are taking any other medicines, including herbal tonics, supplements and medicines that you buy without a prescription.
How should I store this medicine?
Store at or below 25°C, away from the reach of children.
Medicines must not be used past the expiry date.
