Peppermint flavoured liquid containing sodium alginate 500mg, sodium bicarbonate 213mg and calcium carbonate 325mg per 10ml
Indication
Symptomatic treatment of gastro-oesophageal reflux such as acid regurgitation, hyperacidity, heartburn and indigestion, including following meals or during pregnancy
Dosage
Adults and children 12 years and over: 10-20ml after meals and at bedtime, up to 4 times per day
Caution
Sodium content of liquid should be taken into account if patient is on a highly restricted salt diet. The calcium content needs considering for patients with hypercalcaemia, nephrocalcinosis and recurrent calcium containing renal calculi. Patients who do not experience symptom improvement within 7 days should seek medical advice
