Gaviscon Double Action Tablets Handy Pack 12

Contents:

Mint flavoured tablets containing sodium alginate 250mg, sodium bicarbonate 106.5mg and calcium carbonate 187.5mg

Indication:

Symptomatic treatment of gastro-oesophageal reflux such as acid regurgitation, hyperacidity, heartburn and indigestion, including following meals or during pregnancy.

Dosage:

Adults and children 12 years and over: Two to four tablets after meals and at bedtime, up to 4 times a day

Caution:

The sodium content of the tablets should be taken into account if patient is on a highly restricted salt diet. The calcium content needs considering for patients with hypercalcaemia, nephrocalcinosis and recurrent calcium containing renal calculi. Patients who do not experience symptom improvement within 7 days should seek medical advice
