Glycerin Suppositories Children's 2g 12

Contents:

Glycerol BP 70% w/w.

Indication:

For the relief of occasional constipation.

Directions:

One suppository moistened with water should be inserted into the rectum (back passage). These suppositories must not be taken orally. If you are still constipated after 3 days of treatment, you should consult your doctor. Do not insert more than one suppository at a time. If you or a child accidentally swallow a suppository or insert too many, you should talk to your doctor.

Caution:

Not suitable for under 1 year of age. Should not be used when anal fissures or ulcerative proctitis with mucosal damage are present. Not for use in patients with ileus, intestinal obstruction, severe dehydration, acute abdominal conditions such as appendicitis, acute inflammatory bowel diseases and severe abdominal pain associated with nausea and vomiting.
