Why do I need this medicine?

to treat acute bacterial conjunctivitis.

How do I take this medicine?

Apply at night, the enclosed leaflet has pictures to demonstrate this clearly.

Use for five days.

When should I NOT use this medicine?

• if you are under 2 years old.
• if you suffer from glaucoma
• if you are pregnant
• if you are breastfeeding.
• if you have pain in the eye rather than irritation.
• if you have blood or bone marrow problems. 

What side effects could I experience?

Initial application of the ointment can cause blurred vision or stinging, this should clear quickly.

The ointment contains wool fat that may cause local skin reaction around the eye.

How should I store this medicine?

Store in a cool, dry place away from the reach of children.

Medicines must not be used past the expiry date.
